at honeymilk gallery, loggerhythms is a group show exhibiting works on slices of timber that satisfies our viewing pleasure.
anyway you slice it, we are all cut from the same grain.
the tree spends it’s entire life in one location drawing inside
itself in secret. it is only when the trunk gets cut do we realize
it’s true substance.
traditionally, most artists work on paper, a medium which bears no resemblance to its original form, but loggerhythms challenges artists to express and build upon given medium indeed existing in its primal state.
